Absolutely love it. Nice weight and sturdiness. The rubber bar knocked the puck out with one tap. The black hides the puck in the jar until disposing.

Love this knock box, it’s heavy and very good quality!

Better than expected. Very solid. Easy to clean. Real walnut. So much nicer than picking spent pucks out of the sink drain basket.

I love this little knock box. It’s both sturdy and good looking and pairs perfectly with my Bambino Plus.

It’s definitely pricey, but if you’re looking for something that’s a tier above the other offerings, this knockbox is perfect. It’s a lot heavier than I thought it would be and it’s made of metal, making it super durable and easy to clean. The bar pops out for cleaning and stays in place since it’s made of silicone. The 1L version holds about 20 18g pucks before I need to empty it.

Great

Works great. I went with an open top knock box and glad I did. I empty about once a week and if it was enclosed I imagine the smell would be considerably worse. It is well made and I imagine will stand up to daily use over many years. The wood base is a nice touch.

Good quality build but the wood at the bottom makes it hard to wash and you have to wash it because if you don't clear the container every few days the bottom few pucks tend to start growing stuff on them. Probably because of the dark environment.

I’ve been slowly upgrading my home espresso setup, and the Normcore Espresso Knock Box (1L) ended up being one of those accessories that feels much more premium in person than it does in photos. After using cheaper knock boxes in the past, this one immediately stood out for both its build quality and overall design. The first thing I noticed was how solid and stable it feels on the counter. It has enough weight to stay put while knocking out espresso pucks, and the rubberized components help keep noise and vibration down surprisingly well. The knock bar feels durable and absorbs impact nicely without giving that hollow, cheap feeling some other models have.Capacity is also excellent for home use. The 1L size is large enough that I’m not constantly emptying it, but it’s still compact enough to fit neatly beside my espresso machine without taking over the counter. Cleanup is quick and easy, and overall it feels like a thoughtfully designed product made for people who actually make espresso regularly.Aesthetically, it also looks fantastic. The minimalist design fits really well into a modern coffee setup and feels more like a premium coffee accessory than just a basic utility item. The only real downside is the price. It’s definitely more expensive than many knock boxes on the market, and at first I questioned whether it was worth spending this much on something so simple. After using it though, the quality difference is noticeable, and it does feel like one of those “buy once” espresso accessories.Overall, this is an excellent knock box with premium construction, smart design, and great everyday usability. If you care about the details in your espresso setup, this is an easy 5-star product despite the higher price point.

Perfect to store espresso puck for it to dry out and great if you’re using for plants. Looks great on counter and not too big or small

Love it!

I really like this knock box. It looks good. Is actually quite elegant. The small size is big enough for a week's worth of espresso pucks for me and my wife. The only downside is the knock bar. It gets dirty and stays dirty. I think it needs to be redesigned so it doesn't look nasty... It has a special soft touch coating and the codeine just grabs hold of the espresso grounds and looks nasty.

I have purchased Normcore accessories and they are just solid, economical, and quality products. This knock box is no exception. It's a very nice addition to your espresso station and does not feel cheap or lightweight. Very easy to clean. Does what it's supposed to do. It's a perfect size and you can smack your portafilter without worrying the puck goes everywhere because it's a wide mouth knock box. Normcore always delivers and this is no exception.

It’s sturdy and looks good but the grounds tend to escape the box. A rectangle or oblong shape makes more sense

This is more sturdy and holds up to thumping. Holds several espresso rounds. Padding decreases the noise so the baby doesn’t wake.

Very heavy duty, nice finish and easy to clean with the removable knock bar. Matches my matte black espresso machine nicely! I wish it was a little bigger but I knew the size when purchasing.

Nice quality but wood finish peeling and fading

Sturdy, aesthetically pleasing, and has a really nice weight to it. It does exactly what it’s supposed to do.

Title says it all - overall quite happy with this but minus one start for the base being glued ever so slightly off center.
