But testing the finer grind of the 2.5 setting for espresso it looks about right to me and having that option going forward is nice.Pictured is a "6.5" coarseness for filtered coffee and a "2.5" coarseness grind for espresso.

It works well. Before I could even use it, some small pieces from the inside fell apart so I had to dissembled and put it back together (the instructions weren’t of much help). It took me a hour to finally put it back together. I have to say this first impression made me underestimate the product and so I used the lowest setting to make espresso, and it was so fine the the water could not go through. So it does grind well, a bit of an arm workout though. If you’re using it for espresso I recommend 3-4 setting, but it depends on your machine too. It has good weight and it feels good quality. Overall I’m happy with the buy, was not fun to assemble it but I’m guessing that is something that is not supposed to happen. If you’re looking for a good grinder on a budget and don’t mind the arm workouts, it’ll say you could give this a try.

This is a superb grinder. It's easy to operate and adjust for various grinds. I'd definitely buy this product again.

This was a gift for a friend. So far seems to be a great gift. It felt well made. It looked easy to adjust the grind and had a smooth action.

Regardless of the price I'm impressed. Only used a few times so far but this grinder is packed with features that you usually see on grinders that cost over 3 times as much. External adjustments, metal construction, smooth bearings, a 7 star burr set, and a beautiful and comfortable wood knob. Not sure I would trust this to do espresso, but it's built to do everything else on the daily. It blows away my old manual grinder. If you are doing single servings then you will be very happy with this!

It took me a little while to figure out how to handle it. You have to make sure you place it on a non-slip surface while holding it firmly around its mid section (without these two steps the cylinder twisted open while trying to grind, because I was holding the grinder in my hand, but not placing its bottom on the table). Once I managed to hold it firmly in place, it was very easy to operate and was pleasantly surprised to see the very fine ground coffee powder that I obtained! I highly recommend this product!

I bought this little manual grinder based on a few high reviews, as it hadn't received very many but those that reviewed were detailed in their response. That's important in purchasing items online, in my opinion. We have never owned a manual grinder like this, so we didn't really have anything else to compare it to, but this little guy is durable, heavy duty and does a great job grinding. We are happy with the purchase and would buy this one again. It's the perfect size to take camping, as it can come easily apart and be packed away. My husband does a lot of camping/fishing trips, so that was our main reason for getting it. Overall, great quality for the price and it does a great job!
