I was surprised by how compact this coffee scale is! Despite its small size, it packs a punch in terms of functionality. Has a tare functions, the number 1 thing to look for with any scale. LCD display is easy to read. built-in timer so it will not kill the battery. I am happy with it, had no bad issues.

I only used it until I got my espresso maker dialed in. It will be good for kitchen use.

Especially if you're buying good coffee, do it right. Plus, this can do many other things.

Got this for my husband who has a fancy espresso machine and he loves it. While I don't know how to use the espresso machine -- he's the barista in the family -- this met all his needs. The top of the tray has an anti-slip pad, the LED timer and scale are easy to read and it's small enough where we can easily store in in a small kitchen drawer. Also can be used to weigh other foods too.

This is a my first coffee scale , it is very easy to operate, small enough to be put away when not in need. I love the removable silicone top that protects the scale and makes cleaning much easier

This coffee scale is very simple to set up and has a small footprint on your countertop, should space be at a premium in your house as it is in mine. I appreciate the rubberized removable liner on the top. This makes it easier to clean when measuring messy ingredients (think flour, eggs, oil, etc.) My older, less sophisticated kitchen scale only measures to the gram, but it agreed with the measurements of all household items I tested, rounding up or down, where the Uniweigh scale gave the more precise measurement. It also comes with batteries which should last a long time, no more often than a scale really gets used in a day.

So far so good. Packed well enough to keep it safe. Scale has a heavy premium feel. The tray has a heavy rubber overlay that can be removed to expose the flat metal tray. Compared to my other scale this one is identically sensitive. Screen is very sharp and bright. No complaints; it does what it says it will do.

It's entirely possible that this is one off, but in the process of rectifying the main issue, it became clear that assembly in general is haphazard at best and this could affect the longevity of the unit.
